Grilled Chicken Heaven Sandwich

Juicy grilled chicken, creamy avocado mayo, fresh mozzarella, crisp lettuce, and sweet onion—finished with a tangy Italian‑dressing drizzle on a warm fresh‑baked (or homemade) organic Italian hero. Simple, stacked, and absolutely heavenly.

Directions

  1. Marinate & Grill

  • Pound chicken to even thickness. Rub with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon (if using).

  • Grill over medium‑high 5–6 minutes per side (internal temp 165°F). Rest 5 minutes, then slice on the bias.

  1. Mix the Avocado Mayo

  • Mash avocado with mayo, a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lemon until smooth.

  1. Warm the Bread

  • Lightly brush the cut sides of the hero with olive oil and toast on the grill or under a broiler until just golden.

  1. Build the Heaven

  • Spread avocado mayo on both sides of the bread.

  • Layer lettuce and onion, then the fresh mozzarella.

  • Pile on sliced grilled chicken.
